Neuropsychiatric disorders have become a major disabling disease worldwide, and also constitute a major burden of disease in Asian area. With the development and advances of new technologies, new therapeutic drugs and management programs have been introduced and continuously improved to help those with various mental disorders. In order to promote academic integration, the 8th Congress of the Asian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (AsCNP 2023) will be held in conjunction with the 11th China Schizophrenia Forum at Qujiang International Congress Center, Xi‘an, China on September 21-24, 2023.
The theme of AsCNP 2023 is “Traceability, Integration and Innovation". Based on psychopharmacology and new technologies in diagnosis and treatment, and combining with multiple frontier sciences, its mission is to accelerate academic research, strengthen technology exchanges in psychiatry across the Asia-Pacific region, upgrade the quality of diagnosis and treatment technologies for mental disorders, boost the growth and prosperity of psychiatry in Asia and thus enhance the prognosis of Asian patients with mental disorders!

· AsCNP
The ASIAN COLLEGE OF NEUROPSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY (hereinafter referred to as the "AsCNP") was established in 2008. AsCNP adheres to the comprehension, realism and innovation, works together with our international colleagues. At present, AsCNP has 8 social members and 58 individual/counterpart members in 17 countries/regions, and more than 3400 members. The annual meeting of AsCNP is an international academic congress held every two years. The first AsCNP international congress, held in Kyoto, Japan in 2009, was attended by more than 1000 scholars from the Asia-Pacific region. The following congresses were held in Seoul, South Korea, in 2011; Beijing, China, in 2013; Taipei, Taiwan, in 2015; Bali, Indonesia, in 2017; Fukuoka, Japan, in 2019; and Singapore, in 2021 (virtual) and are going to be held in Xi an, China, in 2023; Australia, in 2025. By holding these congresses, AsCNP gathers colleagues from around the world to discuss hot topics and pain points, share cutting-edge technologies and future trends, and promote high-quality development of psychiatry. Currently AsCNP has become one of the most authoritative and benchmark academic associations in the field of psychiatry in Asia. Objects of the AsCNP are to stimulate high quality experimental and clinical research, training, and education in neuropsychopharmacology, with special emphasis on coordinating and promoting the scientific activities and standards between countries in Asia. The AsCNP brings together all persons involved in or interested in the scientific study of neuropsychopharmacology by arranging scientific meetings, seminars, study groups, and other scientific activities. The AsCNP provides guidance and information to the public on matters relevant to neuropsychopharmacology. The AsCNP further provides a format for coordination and for development of common standards in Asia.
